Bitcoin has a very limited utility, developing countries can’t afford the luxury of mining when their citizens are living without electricity, and their citizens, therefore, will never benefit, contrary to the views expressed by thinkers sitting in the ivory towers, and those who hold misguided utopian views, claim that they are trying to level the playing field and liberate the world from the tyranny of central bankers.

The current price of Bitcoin is closer to the actual cost of mining, we think it’s a horrible waste of a valuable natural resource (electricity) but we know, the world is full of fools, enough of them could band together and turn, temporarily at least, anything into a valuable asset. And there are a little wiser fools, who are tired of sitting on the fence, and now promoting Bitcoin as a value investing idea of the century.

The indications are that the price of Bitcoin may go up a little, temporarily, because as we mentioned above, the world is full of fools and their novice followers. Since they lack real talent and ingenuity, fools and their followers are prone to try their luck on anything to get rich quick.
