Can you imagine Trump threatening Putin like he did to the little Kim of Korea? Trump said he would ‘Totally Destroy North Korea”, well Russia in not North Korea, Russia is a real nuclear power and has the capacity to destroy the whole-world in minutes! Think about that for a minute and let it sink.

It has been said that Trump was in Putin’s pocket and Trump famously said that he trusts Putin more than the American Intelligence Agencies, and he most likely would’ve said today that Russia has every right to defend its national interest, probably claiming Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was a hoax and a fake news.

The whole world would’ve been on the edge today, the sanctions against Russia wouldn’t been imposed so swiftly, US and NATO would’ve been on odds whether Article 5 could be invoked or not, there would’ve been huge public disagreements with European Union. The good news is nothing of that sort happened today.

The whole world knows that nothing irrational would happen in Washington. Americans once again leading the policy discussions and the sanctions that took effect today was one of the most closely coordinated and swiftly imposed sanctions in the history.

However, unfortunately, the effect of sanctions never swift nor certain, food and energy inflation was affection the whole world, especially the poor people of the world were already burdened by higher food prices, Russia and Ukraine are major grain exporters and any interruption would have devastating effect on those who could least afford, my heart goes to those who can’t afford to feed themselves.

We’ve a very little direct trade with Russia and Ukraine, so we believe that the Market reaction to the events today was totally irrational.
