The mysterious Vape Lung disease has now spread to every state and union territory except one. Doctors first connected the link to Vaping over the summer. The biggest worry now is that some of the patients who were treated then released are relapsing.
Some of the researchers compared the Vape Lung injuries to Mustard Gas exposures that damaged the lungs of soldiers in the World War l. Doctors say it is too early to know whether patients will recover fully, most doctors are monitoring the progress of their patients.
“Someone who suffers a massive hit to their lungs will be at risk for long-term lung function” said Dr. Brendon Stiles, a thoracic surgeon at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian.
A recent NBC News commissioned Lab Test revealed that most of the Black Market Vaping products contained many harmful chemical additives, including Vitamin E Acetate, Pesticides and heavy metals.
